When I came to visit Los Angeles it was a must for me to try Yellow House Cafe, especially for the Kimchi Bacon Pasta! Ordering the Kimchi Bacon Pasta was a given. My cousin and I wanted to try another dish and we landed on the Miso Mushroom Pasta. When I tell you both of these pastas were delicious, I truly mean it. They both were so tasty and packed with flavor. When I tried both I really couldn't decide which one I liked more and kept going back to both. They don't hold back on the ingredients in their dishes. Also, if you like creamy, these pastas are for you. I really have nothing bad to say. If you're in LA, please come and try for yourself!

I'm so glad I got to check out Yellow House before their last day. Parking totally sucks (they have a tiny valet lot) but I was lucky enough to get meter street parking. The inside is so gorgeous and I love the different sections. I was seated in a cozy space next to a large tree. My friend and I ordered the miso mushroom pasta, kimchi bacon pasta, yellow house dukbokki, sweet potato latte, and hazelnut latte. I can see why the kimchi pasta is so popular! I usually don't like kimchi but the pasta was so good and had a little kick to it. The dukkboki was also very tasty and I love how it had an assortment of goodies. I especially liked the fried dumpling and seaweed roll. I felt that the ramyun was too soggy. But I'd say the star of the meal was really the sweet potato latte. I am so sad I just found it today. It was mildly sweet and you can really taste the sweet potato. So delicious!!!! Service was a bit slow despite it not being very busy. The tables did have a little button to push to call an employee.

Our party of 5 decided to come here as it was a place recommended by my son. I was pretty excited about coming to this restaurant and love the name and how it actually is a house converted into a restaurant. First of all, I love how the place is decorated, the waiting area is big and has chairs and benches for patrons while waiting. Every aspect of this waiting area gives one a photo opportunity. You walk in a hallway making your way to the back where there is a courtyard and some tables and chairs and along both sides of the courtyard is more seating. They have outdoor heated lamps as well. We ordered two korean bbq over rice , two kimchi & bacon pasta with cream sauce and clam chowder w/ garlic bread. As noted in past reviews, I have to agree that the Kimchi & Bacon pasta w/cream sauce is definitely the dish to order. The sauce is so tasty, light, and doesn't have that heavy based creme that one would find at a Italian restaurant. The Korean BBQ over rice was good but really nothing special that I haven't already had in other Korean restaurants. The clam chowder and garlic bread was good. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Overall, our first time experience was good and definitely a place I recommend and will come back to.
